Student by week, Stranger by weekend

My life has an interesting dynamic. A duality if you will. During the week, there are people who I see and socialize with. During the weekends, I have a separate group of friends. It is a very strange phenomenon. I may not be recognized by either group outside of the designated social interaction times. An anomaly occurred last night, however. The groups mixed, albeit to a small extent. John met Maria's posse during a crazy metal performance at Liquid Joes. Many of the weekend friends there I don't know as well (one I had met that night by playing Rock Band at his house -- we rocked Metallica), and none of my guy posse was there, but this was a start. To illustrate the lack of week/weekend mixing, I have known John since August and Maria since September, and this was the first meeting. It is very strange. Perhaps a new era is dawning.
